Hong Kong To London Flight 252

It's 6 in the evening and I just got up from sleeping all day. I got in from my second flight today at 8am after flying back from London, Heathrow. Its funny, for me I could'nt ask for a more perfect job. Flying around the world working 9 days a month and having a very good excuse for sleeping all day!!

The flight to London and back went really well and I am learning a lot from the Captains I am flying with. They are very good at teaching and are providing me with really good feed back which feels great.

I had 30 hours in London and went down to Notting hill and Kensington gardens for the day. Notting hill is one of my favoirte places in London, very similiar to Kensigton market in Toronto.

I am now off for 10 days, I am flying to Paris on the 17th to see Chrisite than come back to Hong kong to fly to San Francisco than to L.A. By the beginning of November my training will be completed.

Hope all is well with everybody.

Tai chi in Hong Kong

Here is a pic of a woman doing tai chi in Kowloon walled park. This was a park that homeless people lived in until 1985 when it was turned into a park.
It was orginally a military base in the 1800s.

June 15th - June 19th - Paris

Before I left for Austtralia I went Paris to see Christie and take it easy before starting with Cathay.

Here are some pics of Versailles which is about a 40 minute train ride from Paris.

First flight

Had my first flight to Frankfurt Germany last week on September 27th. It was amazing to finally fly the 747 after 3 months of training, exams and too much studying.

The flight started out with climbing up the staircase to the flight deck 2 stories high. Once in the cockpit little sandwiches and drinks were brought up, delightful. Took off at 11:30 pm and I was on duty with the Captain for the first shift till about 5:30 am. We flew over China, Kazachstan, and into Russia.... Flew over moutain peaks of 24,000 ft through the Himaluns. This is the part that required alot of attention as you can not descend very low if there is a problem and you have to know where you are at all times and what to do if anything goes wrong.

I am heading off to Paris in two weeks to see Chrisite which I am really excited about.

I am off to London next week and fly to L.A. and San Fran this month.

Life is good!
